There are a couple of area in Indonesia that establishes Orang Utan rehabilitation center. One of them is located in Central Kalimantan. This tour will take you in a river exploration up to Kumai River and get to Camp Leakey. We believe it will give you different experience as we offer you to stay overnight on the traditional boat. Following is the approximate itinerary:
Day 01 | Arrive in Jakarta then fly to Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan. Upon arrival drive to the harbor and board the Klotok (traditional boat) to go upriver to Camp Leakey. Overnight on board. |
Day 02 | Start morning activity around Camp Leakey at Tanjung Isuy to see the Orang Utan at the rehabilitation center. |
